What is the difference, and what is a VDS versus a VPS? Our VDS, also sometimes called a Hybrid Server, is hosted on our Enterprise Servers and has direct allocation of it's own physical hardware and resources, just like a dedicated server. We limit the number of virtual instances on eachVDS node to just a few to assure the extra resources are always available. We DO NOT oversell or over allocate resources on any of our servers. Often, such a server as our VDS series will perform better than a typical dedicated server, with a more economical price than a dedicated server.
